Hi, I’m Neil…
I offer counselling and psychotherapy on both a long and short-term basis and work with people from many different backgrounds.
I offer one-to-one and group therapy sessions, both of which at the moment have to be online. We can discuss how this might work for you.
I’m particularly qualified to work with both current and past members of the armed forces.
I also have a non-judgemental approach to gender and sexual diversity clients across the LGBTIQ spectrum.
If you’re looking for support and feel counselling or psychotherapy could help, let’s have a chat.
What are Counselling and Psychotherapy?
Counselling
Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where something significant has happened in our life or there is major change that we face and deal with. This can be very stressful and anxiety-producing, and we may find ourselves not dealing with things as well as we would like. Examples may be relationship issues, illness, unemployment or bereavement.
What we find ourselves wanting is the chance to talk these things through and find our way through to a better place.
Psychotherapy
Therapy is a deeper process and more of an exploration. It may be the best option if you’re seeing repeating patterns of behaviour in your life and feel like there’s perhaps something going on more generally. This could be around relationships with others or ongoing stress, anxiety and depression.
There can also be deeper challenges such as dealing with difficult parts of your history that you feel are affecting you now.
How can Counselling and Psychotherapy help?
Both approaches can give you a way forward and help you move your life into a better place. It’s an opportunity for you to gain more understanding of where you are and what you can possibly do to move towards a happier, more content and perhaps more successful life.
